Disable splash screen?

    I'm almost positive that in my previous install I had the splash screen disabled, but I can't find anything about it in bugzilla or the forums.

    Is there an option or something I can add to the plist to turn it off? Unfortunatlely I had to rebuild my box...

    Look under the "Advanced preferences" tab of the Preferences window. There is a checkbox for turning the splash screen on or off.

    Sorry... I don't know how I could have missed that. I know I looked in there a few times. Probably the frustration of losing a drive and backups at the same time.
