As you note, it doesn't work on Leopard at the moment. I think the problem is a failure to install because the "MenuCracker" hack doesn't work on Leopard any more. "MenuCracker" is actually written by a third party, but it is open source so I'm hopeful that it will get updated to work on Leopard.

Nevertheless, it's actually just an installation problem. It appears that the software itself will work on Leopard without modifications. See this forum thread for more information on manually installing it.

Just wanted to add a comment here that from the forum thread it appears that it is not only an installation problem but that there may be some other issues as well. See that thread for full details.

As I remark in the thread, WinSwitch is open source so if anyone has a fix and would like to contribute it I would be happy to include it. The main ticket for the "bug" is actually ticket #599.

See bug #1185 (just filed) - as of Jan 2009 it locks up SystemUIServer.

See bug #1185 for another possible bug, not merely installation-related.
