Description

The moderation system has so far prevented any spam from reaching the publicly-visible part of the site, but one annoying trait has been discovered:

If a spammer adds a comment to an old issue the issue modification date gets hit and the issue moves up in the list to the top of the "recently modified" issues. This is a huge usability problem because it means that the real activity is obscured underneath all the meaninglessly bumped old issues.

So this is a fairly high priority to fix.

    Currently fixed in the internal development version. Marking as CLOSED.
