Description

I am running the latest edition of iTunes with Leopard. The box for providing 'extra visual feedback' is not checked, but i still get the notifications every time i pause or play a song, even when i use the normal iTunes controls and not the hotkeys. I have tried reverting to the default settings and re-checking and unchecking the box again, but nothing takes away the extra feedback. The only way so far that i have found to disable it is to stop Synergy from running. I have not been able to find any info on this in the help sections online.

Sorry about the long delay in replying. There's been a lot of spam in the moderation queue of late and there many legitimate posts got buried and overlooked.

Just to rule out one possibility, can you clarify what you mean by "extra visual feedback"? Are you referring to the bezels which appear in the centre of the screen showing forward/back/play/pause symbols?

Have you tried disposing of your preferences file (~/Library/Preferences/org.wincent.Synergy.plist) and seeing if the problem goes away? Or trying from another user account?
