    This, together with ticket #1636 ("Score already-open files more highly (show at top of list)"), seem to really be about buffer navigation. Is that what you're really wanting? If so, take a look at ticket #1608 ("Buffer navigation"). I'd rather implement proper buffer navigation than blur the purpose and functionality of the file navigation.

    Agreed, it sounds like my request is a combination of a few dupes. :) Feel free to close this one and I'll follow 1492 and 1608.
