Description

Requested in this forum topic. Repeating my answer here:

I'm not a heavy tags user myself so I probably won't be the one to implement it, but if somebody wants to submit a patch or two for it I'd be happy to take a look at it/them.

Ticket #1932 closed as a duplicate of this one.

Okay; thank you for considering, when I feel confident enough with Ruby I will attempt it.

So, I've made progress on this; it needs a few tweaks, but it is here: https://github.com/silky/Command-T

Note specifically that I've changed, slightly, the finder and controller classes: https://github.com/silky/Command-T/commit/2d5cc8ada06ab880cb0c60131f782c6f77553bbf

To clean it up, I'll need to make sure it uses vim's "typical" tag lookup path, and maybe do something about non-unique tags (I'm not sure how vim handles this in general yet, so I'll find out and implement appropriately).

Would you be comfortable accepting this as a patch under the current model?

    Merged here.
