Feature request #183: REQUEST: Add categories and search to button sets

Description

The amount of button sets is reaching such high numbers that a kind of structure to search them is perhaps in order. If one or more catagories are assigned to a button set (including editor's choice) you would be able to filter down the list and get faster to the desired results. Cheers, Eerk.

    As I commented to you via email, I think this is a good idea but it will have to wait until I have a bit of spare time to develop a database-driven back end for it. The following are the things that could be done with it:

    - group sets by categories, authors and keywords etc - sort listings by categories, authors, keywords, download counts, ratings, release date etc - search via categories, authors, keywords, ratings, date ranges etc

    And of course, as you suggested you could also group, sort and search according to the editor's choice flag. I suspect that ratings and download counts will prove to popular ways of searching too.

    If anyone has any additional ideas please add them here. The above is just a starting point. Realistically though, I probably won't have time to get onto this for at least a few months, but at least it's in the bug database so we know it won't get forgotten or buried under the sands of time!
