Bug #189: Floater displays no info

Description

With 1.8, the floater is constantly blank. I have tried trashing prefs, and then re-installing. Neither solved the problem. This also used to occure with older versions, but after quitting and restarting iTunes, everything would work as normal. With this the floater is always blank.
